सम्भाषिताद् अधिक क्रियायां प्रयासं न मोघं कुर्यात् ॥
Also the workman may, if unrestrained, do more than agreed upon and thereby cause loss to the employer

तेन संघ भृता व्याख्याताः ॥
The same rules shall apply to guilds of workmen (sanghabhritáh.)

तेषाम् आधिः सप्त रात्रम् आसीत ॥
Guilds of workmen shall have a grace of seven nights over and above the period agreed upon for fulfilling their engagement.

ततो अन्यम् उपस्थापयेत्, कर्म निष्पाकं च ॥
Beyond that time they shall find substitutes and get the work completed.

न च अनिवेद्य भर्तुः संघः कंचित् परिहरेद् उपनयेद् वा ॥
Without taking permission from their employer, they shall neither leave out anything undone nor carry away anything with them from the place of work.
