समुद्र फेनकस् तैल युक्तो अम्भसि प्लवमानो ज्वलति ॥
Sea-foam wetted with oil and ignited keeps burning when floating on water.
english translation
samudra phenakas taila yukto ambhasi plavamAno jvalati ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptप्लवमानानाम् अस्थिषु कल्माष वेणुना निर्मथितो अग्निर् न उदकेन शाम्यति, उदकेन ज्वलति ॥
The fire generated by churning the bone of a monkey by means of a bamboo stick of white and black colour (kalmáshavenu) burns in water instead of being quenched.

plavamAnAnAm asthiSu kalmASa veNunA nirmathito agnir na udakena zAmyati, udakena jvalati ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptशस्त्र हतस्य शूल प्रोतस्य वा पुरुषस्य वाम पार्श्व पर्शुक अस्थिषु कल्माष वेणुना निर्मथितो अग्निः स्त्रियाः पुरुषस्य वा अस्थिषु मनुष्य पर्शुकया निर्मथितो अग्निर् यत्र त्रिर् अपसव्यं गच्छति न च अत्र अन्यो अग्निर् ज्वलति ॥
There will burn no other fire where the fire generated by churning, by means of a bamboo stick of white and black colour, the left side rib-bone of a man killed by a weapon or put to the gallows; or the fire generated by churning the bone of a man or woman by means of the bone of another man is circumambulated thrice from right to left.
english translation
zastra hatasya zUla protasya vA puruSasya vAma pArzva parzuka asthiSu kalmASa veNunA nirmathito agniH striyAH puruSasya vA asthiSu manuSya parzukayA nirmathito agnir yatra trir apasavyaM gacchati na ca atra anyo agnir jvalati ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptचुच्चुन्दरी खञ्जरीटः खार कीटश् च पिष्यते । अश्व मूत्रेण संसृष्टा निगलानां तु भञ्जनम् ॥
When the paste prepared from the animals such as chuchundari (musk-rat), khanjaríta (?) and khárakíta (?), with the urine of a horse is applied to the chains with which the legs of a man are bound, they will be broken to pieces.

cuccundarI khaJjarITaH khAra kITaz ca piSyate । azva mUtreNa saMsRSTA nigalAnAM tu bhaJjanam ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअयस् कान्तो वा पाषाणः कुलीर दर्दुर खार कीट वसा प्रदेहेन द्वि गुणः ॥
The sun-stone (ayaskánta) or any other stone (will break to pieces) when wetted with the serum of the flesh of the animals kulinda (?), dardura (?), and khárakíta (?)

ayas kAnto vA pASANaH kulIra dardura khAra kITa vasA pradehena dvi guNaH ॥
