अशुद्धं छेदयेत् ॥

Counterfeit coins shall be cut into pieces.

आहर्तुः पूर्वः साहस दण्डः ॥

Whoever brings in counterfeit coins shall be punished with the first amercement.

शुद्धं पूर्णम् अभिनवं च धान्यं प्रतिगृह्णीयात् ॥

Grains pure and fresh shall be received in full measures.

विपर्यये मूल्य द्विगुणो दण्डः ॥

otherwise a fine of twice the value of the grains shall be imposed.
