ततः परं नगर धान्य व्यावहारिक कार्मान्तिक बल अध्यक्षाः पक्व अन्न सुरा मांस पण्या रूपाजीवास् तालावचरा वैश्याश् च दक्षिणां दिशम् अधिवसेयुः ॥

To the south, the superintendents of the city, of commerce, of manufactories, and of the army as well as those who trade in cooked rice, liquor, and flesh, besides prostitutes, musicians, and the people of Vaisya caste shall live.

english translation

tataH paraM nagara dhAnya vyAvahArika kArmAntika bala adhyakSAH pakva anna surA mAMsa paNyA rUpAjIvAs tAlAvacarA vaizyAz ca dakSiNAM dizam adhivaseyuH ॥
