याश् च अनिष्कासिन्यः प्रोषिता विधवा न्यङ्गाः कन्यका वा आत्मानं बिभृयुः ताः स्व दासीभिर् अनुसार्य स उपग्रहं कर्म कारयितव्याः ॥
Those women who do not stir out of their houses (anishkásinyah), those whose husbands are gone abroad, and those who are cripple or girls may, when obliged to work for subsistence, be provided with work (spinning out threads) in due courtesy through the medium of maid-servants (of the weaving establishment.)
english translation
yAz ca aniSkAsinyaH proSitA vidhavA nyaGgAH kanyakA vA AtmAnaM bibhRyuH tAH sva dAsIbhir anusArya sa upagrahaM karma kArayitavyAH ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptस्वयम् आगच्छन्तीनां वा सूत्र शालां प्रत्युषसि भाण्ड वेतन विनिमयं कारयेत् ॥
Those women who can present themselves at the weaving house shall at dawn be enabled to exchange their spinnings for wages (bhándavetanavinimayam).
english translation
svayam AgacchantInAM vA sUtra zAlAM pratyuSasi bhANDa vetana vinimayaM kArayet ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसूत्र परीक्षा अर्थ मात्रः प्रदीपः ॥
Only so much light as is enough to examine the threads shall be kept.

hk transliteration by Sanscriptस्त्रिया मुख संदर्शने अन्य कार्य सम्भाषायां वा पूर्वः साहस दण्डः, वेतन काल अतिपातने मध्यमः, अकृत कर्म वेतन प्रदाने च ॥
If the superintendent looks at the face of such women or talks about any other work, he shall be punished with the first amercement. Delay in paying the wages shall be punished with the middlemost amercement. Likewise when wages are paid for work that is not completed.

striyA mukha saMdarzane anya kArya sambhASAyAM vA pUrvaH sAhasa daNDaH, vetana kAla atipAtane madhyamaH, akRta karma vetana pradAne ca ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptगृहीत्वा वेतनं कर्म अकुर्वत्या अङ्गुष्ठ संदंशं दापयेत्, भक्षित अपहृत अवस्कन्दितानां च ॥
She who, having received wages, does not turn out the work shall have her thumb cut off. Those who misappropriate, steal, or run away with, (the raw material supplied to them) shall be similarly punished.
