बहिर् अन्तश् च कर्म अन्ता विभक्ताः सार्वभाण्डिकाः । आजीव पुर रक्षा अर्थाः कार्याः कुप्य उपजीविना ॥

The superintendent of forest produce shall carry on either inside or outside (the capital city) the manufacture of all kinds of articles which are necessary for life or for the defence of forts.

english translation

bahir antaz ca karma antA vibhaktAH sArvabhANDikAH । AjIva pura rakSA arthAH kAryAH kupya upajIvinA ॥
