सम्पुटिका चतुर् अश्रिका लम्बरा कटवानकं प्रावरकः सत्तलिका इति मृग रोम ॥
Samputika, Chaturasrika, Lambara, Katavánaka, Praváraka, and Sattalika are (blankets made of) the wool of wild animals.

वाङ्गकं श्वेतं स्निग्धं दुकूलम् ॥
That which is manufactured in the country, Vanga (vangaka) is a white and soft fabric (dukúla).

पौण्ड्रकं श्यामं मणि स्निग्धम् ॥
that of Pándya manufacture (Paundraka) is black and as soft as the surface of a gem.

सौवर्ण कुड्यकं सूर्य वर्णं मणि स्निग्ध उदक वानं चतुर् अश्र वानं व्यामिश्र वानं च ॥
and that which is the product of the country, Suvarnakudya, is as red as the sun, as soft as the surface of the gem, woven while the threads are very wet, and of uniform (chaturasra) or mixed texture (vyámisravána).
