संध्य् आदीनाम् अयथा उद्देश अवस्थापनम् अपनयः ॥
THE formation of a treaty and other settlements otherwise than they ought to have been made is impolicy. From it arise dangers.

that which is of external origin and of internal abetment; that which is of internal origin and of external abetment; that which is of external origin and of external abetment; and that which is of internal origin and of internal abetment.

bAhya utpattir abhyantara pratijApA, abhyantara utpattir bAhya pratijApA, bAhya utpattir bAhya pratijApA, abhyantara utpattir abhyantara pratijApA ity ApadaH ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयत्र बाह्या अभ्यन्तर अनुपजपन्ति, अभ्यन्तरा वा बाह्यान्, तत्र उभय योगे प्रतिजपतः सिद्धिर् विशेषवती ॥
Where foreigners carry on an intrigue with local men or local men with foreigners, there the consequence of the intrigue carried on by the combination of local and foreign persons will be very serious.

yatra bAhyA abhyantara anupajapanti, abhyantarA vA bAhyAn, tatra ubhaya yoge pratijapataH siddhir vizeSavatI ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसुव्याजा हि प्रतिजपितारो भवन्ति, न उपजपितारः ॥
Abettors of an intrigue have a better chance of success than its originators.
