For a surgical procedure to be deemed appropriate or suitable, the following qualities in the practitioner and the tools are required: 1. Shauryam (Bravery): The practitioner should possess courage and confidence. 2. Ashukriya (Skillfulness): The tools used must be of high sharpness and effectiveness. 3. Shastrataikshnyam (Sharpness of Instruments): The instruments should be exceptionally sharp and precise. 4. Asweda (Absence of Sweating): The practitioner should not be nervous or sweating, indicating calmness and composure. 5. Vepathu (Steadiness): There should be no trembling or unsteadiness in the practitioner's hands or instruments. Additionally, the practitioner should be free from Asammoh (Confusion), ensuring clarity and precision in the execution of the procedure. These attributes contribute to the effectiveness and safety of the surgical intervention.
