ऊषसूतं वालुकैलं शैलमूलाकरोद्भवम् । लवणं कटुकं छेदि विहितं कटु चोच्यते ॥३२१॥
Salt that is produced from the heat of the sun, derived from sand, and from mountain roots, is cutting (sharp in action), and is said to be pungent.
