लघु तीक्ष्णोष्णमुत्क्लेदि सूक्ष्मं वातानुलोमनम् । सतिक्तं कटु सक्षारं विद्याल्लवणमौद्भिदम् ॥३१९॥
Light, sharp, and hot, causing perspiration, fine, and promotes the movement of vata, with a slightly bitter taste and salty, it's known as salt produced from natural sources.

लघु, तीक्ष्ण और गर्म, पसीना उत्पन्न करने वाला, सूक्ष्म, वात को प्रोत्साहित करने वाला, थोड़ा कषाय और लवणीय, यह प्राकृतिक स्रोतों से उत्पन्न नमक के रूप में जाना जाता है।
