अविदाही कफकरो वातपित्तनिवारणः | वक्त्रप्रह्लादनो वृष्यो दन्तनिष्पीडितो रसः ||१५७||

The juice of sugarcane, which does not cause burning, alleviates cough and balances Vata and Pitta doshas. It is beneficial for the mouth, provides satisfaction, and strengthens the body. It is also useful when squeezed from the teeth.

इक्षू का रस, जो जलन नहीं करता, कफ को दूर करता है और वात-पित्त को संतुलित करता है। यह मुख को प्रसन्नता प्रदान करता है, शरीर को बल देता है, और दांतों से निचोड़े जाने पर भी उपयोगी होता है।
