तत्सौकुमार्याच्च तथैव शैत्यान्नानौषधीनां रससम्भवाच्च । उष्णैर्विरुध्येत विशेषतश्च तथाऽन्तरीक्षेण जलेन चापि ॥१४५॥
Due to its delicacy and the nature of various medicinal substances, honey should be avoided with hot things. Particularly, it is contraindicated with substances that have a hot quality, and also when combined with water in specific contexts.

मधु की कोमलता और विभिन्न औषधियों के रसों की प्रकृति के कारण, इसे उष्ण पदार्थों के साथ नहीं मिलाना चाहिए। विशेष रूप से, यह उष्ण गुण वाले पदार्थों के साथ और विशेष परिस्थितियों में जल के साथ मिलाने से परहेज करना चाहिए।
