तिर्यक् प्रणिहिते शस्त्रे दोषाः पूर्वमुदाहृताः । तस्मात् परिहरन् दोषान् कुर्याच्छस्त्रनिपातनम् ॥४२॥

The defects associated with a transverse (oblique) placement of the instrument have been previously described. Therefore, one should avoid these defects by performing the procedure with careful attention to the proper placement of the instrument.

आघात की ओर झुके हुए औजार से उत्पन्न दोष पहले ही वर्णित किए जा चुके हैं। इसलिए, इन दोषों से बचने के लिए औजार की उचित स्थिति का ध्यान रखते हुए उपचार करना चाहिए।
