In regions with scanty flesh or at joints, a needle with a width of two finger-breadths should be used. For areas with more flesh, a needle three finger-breadths long and three-sided should be used, while a needle with a round or circular cross-section should be employed in cases involving flesh.

जहां मांस कम हो या जोड़ पर, वहाँ दो अंगुल चौड़ी सुई का उपयोग किया जाए। मांस वाले क्षेत्रों में तीन अंगुल लंबी और त्रिकोणीय सुई का प्रयोग किया जाए, और यदि मांस अधिक हो तो गोल या गोलाकार सुई का उपयोग किया जाए।
