यापनीयं विजानीयात् क्रिया धारयते तु यम् | क्रियायां तु निवृत्तायां सद्य एव विनश्यति ||१०||

An ulcer that is to be managed (Yapya) is one that responds to treatment and retains its stability while being under treatment. However, if the treatment is discontinued, such an ulcer tends to deteriorate and can quickly worsen.

english translation

जिस व्रण को प्रबंधित किया जाना चाहिए (याप्य) वह व्रण होता है जो इलाज के दौरान इलाज को स्वीकार करता है और इलाज के समय स्थिर रहता है। लेकिन, यदि इलाज को बंद कर दिया जाता है, तो ऐसा व्रण जल्दी बिगड़ सकता है और उसकी स्थिति तेजी से खराब हो सकती है।
