अल्पो महान् वा क्रियया विना यः समुच्छ्रितः पाकमुपैति शोफः | विशालमूलो विषमं विदग्धः स कृच्छ्रतां यात्यवगाढदोषः ||१४||

A swelling that, whether small or large, undergoes a difficult or severe transformation without proper treatment, becomes deep-seated with complex symptoms, and transforms into a serious condition with extensive and irregular complications.

english translation

एक शोफ जो, चाहे वह छोटा हो या बड़ा, उचित उपचार के बिना कठिन या गंभीर रूप में बदलता है, वह गहरा और जटिल लक्षणों के साथ विकसित हो जाता है और गंभीर स्थिति में परिवर्तित हो जाता है, जिसमें व्यापक और असामान्य जटिलताएं होती हैं।
