तत्र, सविषमत्स्यकीटदर्दुरमूत्रपुरीषकोथजाताः कलुषेष्वम्भसु च सविषाः; पद्मोत्पलनलिनकुमुदसौगन्धिककुवलयपुण्डरीकशैवलकोथजाता विमलेष्वम्भःसु च निर्विषाः ॥१४॥
Among these, the leeches that are venomous come from places contaminated with fish, insects, or other impurities. Conversely, the leeches that are non-venomous are found in clean waters, such as those from lotus, water lilies, and other pure water sources.

इनमें से, विषयुक्त जोंकें उन स्थानों से होती हैं जहाँ मछलियाँ, कीड़े या अन्य अशुद्धियाँ होती हैं। इसके विपरीत, विषरहित जोंकें उन स्वच्छ जल स्रोतों से होती हैं जैसे कमल, जललता और अन्य शुद्ध जल स्रोत।
