अस्थि(थ) मज्जोष्मणा तेन शीर्यते दह्यमानवत् । विकारः शल्यभूतोऽयं क्लेशयेदातुरं चिरम् ॥३६॥
Due to the heat of the bone and marrow, it decays like being burnt; this condition, being a type of wound, torments the patient for a long time.

हड्डी और मज्जा के ताप के कारण यह जलने के समान सड़ जाता है; यह स्थिति, जो एक प्रकार का घाव है, रोगी को लंबे समय तक पीड़ित करती है।

When the disease is treated, the door (to health) is opened, then the fat becomes moist, white, cold, and heavy.

जब रोग का उपचार किया जाता है, तो स्वास्थ्य का द्वार खुलता है, तब वसा नम, सफेद, ठंडा और भारी हो जाता है।

athAsya karmaNA vyAdhirdvAraM tu labhate yadA । tato medaHprabhaM snigdhaM zuklaM zItamatho guru ॥37॥

If the bones are fractured, the pus flows from the affected area; the knowledgeable in scriptures understand this as a form of disease that causes all types of ailments.
