तत्रौष्ठप्रकोपा वातपित्तश्लेष्मसन्निपातरक्तमांसमेदोभिघातनिमित्ताः ॥४॥
In those cases, the disturbances in the lips are caused by the imbalance of Vata, Pitta, Kapha, the combination of these doshas, as well as by injury to blood, flesh, and fat.

उनमें ओष्ठों में विकार वात, पित्त, कफ, इन तीनों का संयोग, तथा रक्त, मांस और मेद के आघात के कारण होते हैं।
