पुराणोदकभूयिष्ठाः सर्वर्तुषु च शीतलाः । ये देशास्तेषु जायन्ते श्लीपदानि विशेषतः ॥१४॥
The most abundant types of Shlipada arise in those regions where the water is ancient and cool throughout all seasons.

श्लीपद के सबसे अधिक प्रकार उन क्षेत्रों में उत्पन्न होते हैं, जहाँ पुराना और हर मौसम में ठंडा जल होता है।
