प्रायशः कुरुते दुष्टो हिक्काश्वासादिकान् गदान् । उदानो नाम यस्तूर्ध्वमुपैति पवनोत्तमः ॥१४॥
The air known as Udana, which moves upwards, is responsible for causing hiccups, breathing difficulties, and similar disorders, and is generally associated with disturbances in the body.

उदाना नाम वायु जो ऊपर की ओर गतिशील होता है, हिचकी, सांस लेने में कठिनाई और अन्य ऐसे विकारों को उत्पन्न करता है और सामान्यतः शरीर में विकारों से संबंधित होता है।
