शाखादष्टे वेदना चोर्ध्वमेति दाहस्वेदौ दंशशोफो ज्वरश्च । रक्तः पीतः कापिलेनोदरेण सर्वे धूम्राः पर्वभिश्च त्रिभिः स्युः ॥६१॥
When bitten by one of these scorpions, the person experiences pain that radiates upwards, accompanied by burning sensations, sweating, swelling, and fever. The affected area turns red, and there is a yellowish discoloration in the abdomen. All these symptoms are characterized by a dark hue, and they are accompanied by the presence of three types of mountain-like features.

इनमें से किसी एक बिच्छू के काटने पर व्यक्ति को ऊपर की ओर दर्द होता है, साथ ही जलन, पसीना आना, सूजन और बुखार भी होता है। प्रभावित क्षेत्र लाल हो जाता है और पेट में पीले रंग का मलिनकिरण होता है। इन सभी लक्षणों की विशेषता गहरे रंग की होती है और इनके साथ तीन प्रकार की पर्वत जैसी आकृतियाँ भी होती हैं।
