तत्रैलावक्रसर्पाक्षीगन्धनाकुलिचन्दनैः । महासुगन्धिसहितैः प्रत्याख्यायागदः स्मृतः ॥११७॥
The bite of this one is treated with oils, sandalwood, and other fragrant substances, and is known as the antidote for certain poisons.

इसके काटने पर तेल, चंदन और अन्य सुगंधित पदार्थों से उपचार किया जाता है, तथा इसे कुछ विषों के प्रतिविषनाशक के रूप में भी जाना जाता है।
