Sushruta Samhita
मन्दं कीटेषु नात्युष्णं बहुवातकफं विषम् । अतः कीटविषे चापि स्वेदो न प्रतिषिध्यते ॥३१॥
For slow-acting poisons found in insects, which are neither too hot nor excessively sharp, and are associated with many wind and phlegm-related symptoms, sweating (Sweda) is not prohibited in the case of insect venom.
english translation
कीड़ों में पाए जाने वाले धीमी गति से काम करने वाले जहर, जो न तो बहुत गर्म होते हैं और न ही बहुत तेज होते हैं, और हवा और कफ से संबंधित कई लक्षणों से जुड़े होते हैं, कीड़ों के जहर के मामले में पसीना (स्वेदा) निषिद्ध नहीं है।
