तुद्यते दह्यते चापि श्लेष्मा चास्यात् प्रसिच्यते । तत्र बाष्पेरितं कर्म यच्च स्याद्दान्तकाष्ठिकम् ॥३९॥
It causes irritation and burning sensations, and mucus is secreted from it. There, the action of steam, which may occur, is akin to the burning of wooden sticks.

इससे जलन और जलन होती है और बलगम निकलता है। वहां, भाप की क्रिया, जो हो सकती है, लकड़ी के डंडों को जलाने के समान होती है।
