दृक्क्षेपात् सप्ततिहृताद् भवेद् वावनतिः फलम् । अथवा त्रिज्यया भक्तात् सप्तसप्तकसङ्गुणात् ॥

Dividing the drịkshepa by 70, the quotient is the same amount of parallax (found in the preceding Śloka) or multiplying the drịkshepa by 77 and dividing by the radius (i. e. 3438), the quotient is the same.
