अभीष्टघटिकासुभ्यो भोग्यासून् प्रविशोधयेत्। तद्वत् तदेष्यलग्नासून् एवम् यातात् तथोत्क्रमात्॥

If the time at the end of which the Horoscope is to be found, be given before sun-rise, then take the Bhukta time (above found) and the rising periods of the preceding signs, to that which is occupied by the Sun) in a contrary order from the given time; multiply the remainder by 30 and divide the product by the aśuddha rising period; subtract the quotient, in degrees, from the signs (reckoned from Aries to the aśuddha sign inclusive); the remainder (inversely applied with the amount of the precession of the equinoxes) will be the place of the Horoscope at the eastern horizon.
