मरीचिप्रमुखाश्चान्ये सिद्धेशाः पारदर्शनाः । विदाम न वयं सर्वे यन्मायां माययावृताः ॥ ९-४-५८ ॥
Marīci and many saintly persons headed by him, as well as many others who have achieved perfection. Nonetheless, because we are covered by the illusory energy of the Lord, we cannot understand how expansive that illusory energy is. ॥ 9-4-58 ॥
english translation
मरीचि इत्यादि अनेक सन्तपुरुष एवं सिद्धिप्राप्त अन्य अनेक लोग भूत, वर्तमान तथा भविष्य को जानने वाले हैं। फिर भी भगवान् की माया से प्रच्छन्न होने के कारण हम यह नहीं समझ पाते कि यह माया कितनी विस्तीर्ण है। ॥ ९-४-५८ ॥
