स वै मनः कृष्णपदारविन्दयोर्वचांसि वैकुण्ठगुणानुवर्णने । करौ हरेर्मन्दिरमार्जनादिषु श्रुतिं चकाराच्युतसत्कथोदये ।। ९-४-१८ ।।

sanskrit

Mahārāja Ambarīṣa always engaged his mind in meditating upon the lotus feet of Kṛṣṇa, his words in describing the glories of the Lord, his hands in cleansing the Lord’s temple, and his ears in hearing the words spoken by Kṛṣṇa or about Kṛṣṇa. ।। 9-4-18 ।।

english translation

महाराज अम्बरीष सदैव अपने मन को कृष्ण के चरणकमलों का ध्यान करने में, अपने शब्दों को भगवान् का गुणगान करने में, अपने हाथों को भगवान् का मन्दिर झाडऩे-बुहारने में तथा अपने कानों को कृष्ण द्वारा या कृष्ण के विषय में कहे गये शब्दों को सुनने में लगाते रहे। ।। ९-४-१८ ।।
