दशलक्षसहस्राणि पुत्राणां तास्वजीजनत् । तेषां तु षट् प्रधानानां पृथुश्रवस आत्मजः ॥ ९-२३-३३ ॥
And by each he begot a lakh of sons. Therefore the number of his sons was ten thousand lakhs. Among these many sons, six were the foremost, such as Pṛthuśravā and Pṛthukīrti. ॥ 9-23-33 ॥

और उनमें से हर एक से एक लाख पुत्र उत्पन्न हुए। इसलिए उसके पुत्रों की संख्या एक अरब थी। इन अनेक पुत्रों में से छह अग्रणी थे यथा पृथुश्रवा तथा पृथुकीर्ति। ॥ ९-२३-३३ ॥
