Srimad Bhagavatam
गन्धवस्तुषु तद्देहं निधाय मुनिसत्तमाः । समाप्ते सत्रयागेऽथ देवानूचुः समागतान् ॥ ९-१३-७ ॥
During the performance of the yajña, the body relinquished by Mahārāja Nimi was preserved in fragrant substances, and at the end of the Satra-yāga the great saints and brāhmaṇas made the following request to all the demigods assembled there. ॥ 9-13-7 ॥

यज्ञ सम्पन्न करते समय महाराज निमि द्वारा त्यक्त शरीर को सुगन्धित वस्तुओं द्वारा सुरक्षित रखा गया और सत्रयाग के अन्त में मुनियों तथा ब्राह्मणों ने वहाँ एकत्रित सारे देवताओं से निम्नलिखित प्रार्थना की। ॥ ९-१३-७ ॥
