आचार्यो ब्रह्मणो मूर्तिः पिता मूर्तिः प्रजापतेः । भ्राता मरुत्पतेर्मूर्तिर्माता साक्षात्क्षितेस्तनुः ।। ६-७-२९ ।।

sanskrit

The ācārya, the spiritual master who teaches all the Vedic knowledge and gives initiation by offering the sacred thread, is the personification of all the Vedas. Similarly, a father personifies Lord Brahmā; a brother, King Indra; a mother, the planet earth; ।। 6-7-29 ।।

english translation

आचार्य अर्थात् गुरु, जो समस्त वैदिक ज्ञान की शिक्षा देता है और यज्ञोपवीत प्रदान करके दीक्षित करता है साक्षात् वेद है। इसी प्रकार पिता ब्रह्मा का रूप, भाई राजा इन्द्र का, माता पृथ्वीलोक ।। ६-७-२९ ।।
