यः प्राकृतैर्ज्ञानपथैर्जनानां यथाशयं देहगतो विभाति । यथानिलः पार्थिवमाश्रितो गुणं स ईश्वरो मे कुरुतान्मनोरथम् ।। ६-४-३४ ।।

As the air carries various characteristics of the physical elements, like the aroma of a flower or colors resulting from a mixture of dust in the air, the Lord appears through lower systems of worship according to one’s desires, although He appears as the demigods and not in His original form. What is the use of these other forms? May the original Supreme Personality of Godhead please fulfill my desires. ।। 6-4-34 ।।

english translation

जिस तरह वायु भौतिक तत्त्वों के विविध गुण यथा फूल की गंध या वायु में धूल के मिश्रण से उत्पन्न विभिन्न रंग अपने साथ ले जाती है, उसी तरह भगवान् मनुष्य की इच्छाओं के अनुसार पूजा की निम्नतर प्रणालियों के माध्यम से प्रकट होते हैं, यद्यपि वे देवताओं के रूप में प्रकट होते हैं, अपने आदि रूप में नहीं। तो इन अन्य रूपों का क्या लाभ है? ऐसे आदि भगवान् मेरी इच्छाएँ परिपूर्ण करें। ।। ६-४-३४ ।।
