तथान्ये च ऋषयो गन्धर्वाप्सरसो नागा ग्रामण्यो यातुधाना देवा इत्येकैकशो गणाः सप्तचतुर्दश मासि मासि भगवन्तं सूर्यमात्मानं नानानामानं पृथङ्नानानामानः पृथक्कर्मभिर्द्वन्द्वश उपासते ॥ ५-२१-१८ ॥
Similarly, fourteen other saints, Gandharvas, Apsarās, Nāgas, Yakṣas, Rākṣasas and demigods, who are divided into groups of two, assume different names every month and continuously perform different ritualistic ceremonies to worship the Supreme Lord as the most powerful demigod Sūryadeva, who holds many names. ॥ 5-21-18 ॥

इसी प्रकार अन्य मुनि, गन्धर्व, अप्सराएँ, नाग, यक्ष, राक्षस तथा देवतागण जो संख्या में चौदह हैं, किन्तु दो-दो के जोड़े में विभाजित हैं, प्रतिमास नया नाम धारण करके अनेक नामधारी, सर्वाधिक शक्तिमान देवता सूर्य के रूप में श्रीभगवान् की आराधना करने के लिए निरन्तर विभिन्न कर्मकाण्डों से उपासना करते रहते हैं। ॥ ५-२१-१८ ॥
