Srimad Bhagavatam
तद्वर्षपुरुषा भगवन्तं ब्रह्मरूपिणं सकर्मकेण कर्मणाराधयन्तीदं चोदाहरन्ति ॥ ५-२०-३२ ॥
For the fulfillment of material desires, the inhabitants of this tract of land worship the Supreme Personality of Godhead as represented by Lord Brahmā. They offer prayers to the Lord as follows. ॥ 5-20-32 ॥

इस द्वीप के वासी अपनी भौतिक कामनाओं की पूर्ति के लिए ब्रह्मा के रूप में श्रीभगवान् की आराधना करते हैं। वे इस प्रकार उनकी स्तुति करते हैं। ॥ ५-२०-३२ ॥
