ततोऽनेकसहस्रकोटिविमानानीकसङ्कुलदेवयानेनावतरन्तीन्दुमण्डलमावार्य ब्रह्मसदने निपतति ॥ ५-१७-४ ॥

After purifying the seven planets near Dhruvaloka ॥ the polestar॥, the Ganges water is carried through the spaceways of the demigods in billions of celestial airplanes. Then it inundates the moon ॥ Candraloka॥ and finally reaches Lord Brahmā’s abode atop Mount Meru. ॥ 5-17-4 ॥

english translation

ध्रुवलोक के पड़ोसी सात लोकों को पावन करने के पश्चात् गंगा का जल करोड़ों देवताओं के विमानों द्वारा अन्तरिक्ष को ले जाया जाता है। तब यह चन्द्रलोक को आप्लावित करता हुआ अन्तत: मेरु पर्वत पर स्थित ब्रह्मा के आवास तक पहुँच जाता है। ॥ ५-१७-४ ॥
