न यावदेतां तनुभृन्नरेन्द्र विधूय मायां वयुनोदयेन । विमुक्तसङ्गो जितषट्सपत्नो वेदात्मतत्त्वं भ्रमतीह तावत् ।। ५-११-१५ ।।

sanskrit

My dear King Rahūgaṇa, as long as the conditioned soul accepts the material body and is not freed from the contamination of material enjoyment, and as long as he does not conquer his six enemies and come to the platform of self-realization by awakening his spiritual knowledge, he has to wander among different places and different species of life in this material world. ।। 5-11-15 ।।

english translation

हे राजा रहूगण, जब तक बद्ध-आत्मा भौतिक देह को स्वीकार करता है और भौतिक सुख के कल्मष से मुक्त नहीं हो जाता तथा जब तक अपने छ: शत्रुओं को जीत कर आत्मज्ञान को जागृत करके आत्म-साक्षात्कार के पद को प्राप्त नहीं हो जाता, तब तक उसे इस जगत में विभिन्न स्थानों तथा नाना योनियों में घूमना पड़ता है। ।। ५-११-१५ ।।
