प्रायेण मुनयो राजन् निवृत्ता विधिषेधतः । नैर्गुण्यस्था रमन्ते स्म गुणानुकथने हरेः ।। २-१-७ ।।

O King Parīkṣit, mainly the topmost transcendentalists, who are above the regulative principles and restrictions, take pleasure in describing the glories of the Lord. ।। 2-1-7 ।।

english translation

हे राजा परीक्षित, मुख्यतया सर्वोच्च अध्यात्मवादी, जो विधि-विधानों एवं प्रतिबन्धों से ऊपर हैं, भगवान् का गुणगान करने में आनन्द का अनुभव करते हैं। ।। २-१-७ ।।
