Mahārāja Parīkṣit, now your duration of life is limited to seven more days, so during this time you can perform all those rituals which are needed for the best purpose of your next life. ।। 2-1-14 ।।

हे महाराज परीक्षित, अब आपकी आयु के और सात दिन शेष हैं। अतएव इस अवधि में आप उन समस्त अनुष्ठानों को सम्पन्न कर सकते हैं, जो आपके अगले जीवन के परम कल्याण के लिए आवश्यक हैं। ।। २-१-१४ ।।
