Srimad Bhagavatam
षष्ठमत्रेरपत्यत्वं वृतः प्राप्तोऽनसूयया । आन्वीक्षिकीमलर्काय प्रह्लादादिभ्य ऊचिवान् ॥ १-३-११ ॥
The sixth incarnation of the puruṣa was the son of the sage Atri. He was born from the womb of Anasūyā, who prayed for an incarnation. He spoke on the subject of transcendence to Alarka, Prahlāda and others ॥ Yadu, Haihaya, etc.॥. ॥ 1-3-11 ॥
english translation
पुरुष के छठे अवतार अत्रि मुनि के पुत्र थे। वे अनसूया की प्रार्थना पर उनके गर्भ से उत्पन्न हुए थे। उन्होंने अलर्क, प्रह्लाद तथा अन्यों (यदु, हैहय आदि) को अध्यात्म के विषय में उपदेश दिया। ॥ १-३-११ ॥
