इत्युक्ताः स्थानदेवाश्च सर्वांगेषु मुनीश्वरः । तेषां संबंधिनो भक्त्या स्थानानि शृणु सांप्रतम् ९६ ।
Thus I have mentioned, O lordly sages, the deities of the different parts of the body. Now please listen to the different parts connected with them.

द्वात्रिंशत्स्थानके वार्द्धषोडशस्थानकेपि च । अष्टस्थाने तथा चैव पंचस्थानेपि नान्यसेत् ९७ ।
These lines are to be made either in thirty-two places, or half of that—in sixteen places, or in eight places or in five places.

उत्तमांगे ललाटे च कर्णयोर्नेत्रयोस्तथा । नासावक्त्रगलेष्वेवं हस्तद्वय अतः परम् ९८ ।
In the superior parts of the body, such as the forehead, ears, and eyes, as well as the nose, mouth, and throat, and further extending to the two hands, these are the sacred places (or marks) associated with the spiritual rituals.

कूर्परे मणिबंधे च हृदये पार्श्वयोर्द्वयोः । नाभौ मुष्कद्वये चैवमूर्वोर्गुल्फे च जानुनि ९९ ।
In the kūrpara (circular areas), on the wrist, the heart, on both sides of the body, in the navel, in the musk (area), on both knees, and on the ankles, these are all important points associated with spiritual practices.

जंघाद्वयेपदद्वन्द्वे द्वात्रिंशत्स्थानमुत्तमम् १००ब्। अग्न्यब्भूवायुदिग्देशदिक्पालान्वसुभिः सह 1-24-१०० ।
On the two thighs, feet, and ankles, along with the thirty-three prominent places, and together with the Agni, Vayu, Dikpālas (Guardians of Directions), and Vasus (celestial beings), they are considered the most sacred.
