महाव्याधिसमुत्पत्तौ संकल्पं पुनराचरेत् । सर्वभावे दरिद्र स्तु दीपदानमथाचरेत् १३१ ।
In regard to great diseases like leprosy etc. the vow shall first be taken and the sacrifice performed later on. Indigent persons wanting in all these things shall make gift of a lamp to the deity.
english translation
तदप्यशक्तः स्नात्वा वै यत्किंचिद्दानमाचरेत् । दिवाकरं नमस्कुर्यान्मन्त्रेणाष्टोत्तरं शतम् १३२ ।
If incapable of even that, he shall take bath and make any gift. Or he shall make obeisance to the Sun-god hundred and eight times repeating the mantras.
english translation
सहस्रमयुतं लक्षं कोटिं वा कारयेद् बुधः । नमस्कारात्मयज्ञेन तुष्टाः स्युः सर्वदेवताः १३३ ।
A devotee shall perform prostrations and obeisance a thousand, ten thousand, hundred thousand, or a crore in number. All the deities are delighted by the obeisance-sacrifice in this way.
english translation
त्वत्स्वरूपेर्पिता बुद्धिर्नतेऽशून्ये च रोचति । या चास्त्यस्मदहंतेति त्वयि दृष्टे विवर्जिता १३४ ।
The intellect, which is in the form of You, does not delight in the void. That intellect which exists in 'I am' (ego) disappears when Your form is perceived.
english translation
नम्रोऽहं हि स्वदेहेन भो महांस्त्वमसि प्रभो । न शून्यो मत्स्वरूपो वै तव दासोऽस्मि सांप्रतम् १३५ ।
I am humble, indeed, in my own body, O Lord, You are the supreme one. My form is not empty, for I am Your servant at present.
