आयुष्करी मृत्युहरा सर्वसिद्धिकरी नृणाम् । ज्येष्ठमासे महार्द्रायां चतुर्दशीदिनेपि च ४३ ।
The worship of Lord Shiva on Mahārdrā during the Jyeṣṭha month, especially on the Chaturdaśī day, is said to be life-giving, remover of death, and the bestower of all accomplishments for mankind.
