ऋषय ऊचुः । सूत सूत महाभाग व्यासशिष्य नमोस्तु ते । तदेव व्यासतो ब्रूहि भस्ममाहात्म्यमुत्तमम् १ ।

sanskrit

The sages said: O Sūta, Sūta the fortunate disciple of Vyāsa, obeisance to thee. Please explain again the glorification of the holy ashes, of the Rudrākṣa and of Śiva’s names. Lovingly explaining the three, please delight our minds.

english translation

RSaya UcuH | sUta sUta mahAbhAga vyAsaziSya namostu te | tadeva vyAsato brUhi bhasmamAhAtmyamuttamam 1 |
