गुरुपूजैव पूजा स्याच्छिवस्य परमात्मनः । गुरुशेषं तु यत्सर्वमात्मशुद्धिकरं भवेत् ९५ ।

sanskrit

Worship of the Guru is indeed the highest form of worship of Shiva, the Supreme Soul. The remaining parts of the Guru’s service, whatever they may be, lead to the purification of the soul.

english translation

gurupUjaiva pUjA syAcchivasya paramAtmanaH | guruzeSaM tu yatsarvamAtmazuddhikaraM bhavet 95 |
