क्षेत्रपालो महातेजा नील जीमूतसन्निभः ॥ दंष्ट्राकरालवदनः स्फुरद्रक्ताधरोज्ज्वलः ॥ १४६ ॥
The guardian of the fields was very effulgent and resembled a blue cloud. His face was terrible with fangs and his lips were bright red.

रक्तोर्ध्वमूर्धजः श्रीमान्भ्रुकुटीकुटिलेक्षणः ॥ रक्तवृत्तत्रिनयनः शशिपन्नगभूषणः ॥ १४७ ॥

He who sits in every field and stands there as the protector of the virtuous He is devoted to the worship of Lord Shiva and is conscious of the goodness of Lord Shiva.

शिवश्रितान्विशेषेण रक्षन्पुत्रानिवौरसान् ॥ सत्कृत्य शिवयोराज्ञां स मे दिशतु मङ्गलम् ॥ १५० ॥
He especially protected his sons who were under the protection of Lord Śiva. May he honor the commands of Lord Śiva and bestow upon me auspiciousness.
