ततो देवस्य देव्याश्च पादमूले शुचिस्स्वपेत् ॥ गृहस्थो भार्यया सार्धं तदन्ये ऽपि तु केवलाः ॥ ७१ ॥
The devotee shall go to bed at the feet of the lord and the goddess. The householder shall sleep there with his wife. Others shall sleep alone.
english translation
tato devasya devyAzca pAdamUle zucissvapet ॥ gRhastho bhAryayA sArdhaM tadanye 'pi tu kevalAH ॥ 71 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptप्रत्यूषसमयं बुद्ध्वा मात्रामाद्यामुदीरयेत् ॥ प्रणम्य मनसां देवं सांबं सगणमव्ययम् ॥ ७२ ॥
Knowing the time of dawn, one should chant the first mantra. I bowed down to the inexhaustible lord of the minds Sāmba and his host.
english translation
pratyUSasamayaM buddhvA mAtrAmAdyAmudIrayet ॥ praNamya manasAM devaM sAMbaM sagaNamavyayam ॥ 72 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदेशकालोचितं कृत्वा शौचाद्यमपि शक्तितः ॥ शंखादिनिनदैर्दिव्यैर्देवं देवीं च बोधयेत् ॥ ७३ ॥
After performing ritualistic ceremonies appropriate to the place and time One should awaken the god and goddess with divine sounds like conches.
english translation
dezakAlocitaM kRtvA zaucAdyamapi zaktitaH ॥ zaMkhAdininadairdivyairdevaM devIM ca bodhayet ॥ 73 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततस्तत्समयोन्निद्रैः पुष्पैरतिसुगंधिभिः ॥ निर्वर्त्य शिवयोः पूजां प्रारभेत पुरोदितम् ॥ ७४ ॥
He shall perform the worship of Śiva and Śivā by means of fresh blown fragrant flowers and begin the rites as mentioned before.

tatastatsamayonnidraiH puSpairatisugaMdhibhiH ॥ nirvartya zivayoH pUjAM prArabheta puroditam ॥ 74 ॥
