कृष्णाष्टम्यां नवम्यां वामायां वा पंचदिक्तिथौ ॥ पूजयेज्जगतां धात्रीं गंधपुष्पैर्विशेषतः ॥ ४६ ॥
On the fifth, eighth, ninth and tenth days of the dark lunar half and on new moon days the devotee shall worship the mother of the worlds with fragrant flowers.

संपठञ्जननीसूक्तं श्रीसूक्तमथ वा पठन्॥ देवीसूक्तमथो वापि मूकमन्त्रमथापि वा ॥ ४७॥
Jananīsūkta, Śrīsūkta or Devīsūkta shall be recited or Mūlamantra shall be chanted.

विष्णुक्रान्तां च तुलसीं वर्जयित्वाखिलं सुमम् ॥ देवीप्रीतिकरं ज्ञेयं कमलन्तु विशेषतः ॥ ४८॥
All flowers except Viṣṇukrāntā and Tulasī are pleasing to the goddess particularly the lotus.

अर्पयेत्स्वर्णपुष्पं यो देव्यै राजतमेव वा ॥ स याति परमं धाम सिद्धकोटि भिरन्वितम् ॥ ४९॥
He who offers golden or silver flowers to the goddess goes to the greatest abode where crores of Siddhas live.

पूजनान्ते सदा कार्यं दासैरेनः क्षमापनम्॥ प्रसीद परमेशानि जगदानन्ददायिनि॥ ५०॥
At the end of worship the servants should always offer forgiveness Have mercy on me, O Supreme Goddess, bestower of the bliss of the universe.
