इति वाक्यैस्स्तुवन्मन्त्री देवीभक्तिपरायणः ।। ध्यायेत्कण्ठीरवारूढां वरदाभयपाणिकाम् ।। ५१।।

sanskrit

Thus praising her with these words the minister devoted to the devotion of the goddess One should meditate on her who is seated on the neck and holds boons and fearlessness in her hands.

english translation

iti vAkyaisstuvanmantrI devIbhaktiparAyaNaH || dhyAyetkaNThIravArUDhAM varadAbhayapANikAm || 51||

इत्थं ध्यात्वा महेशानीं भक्ताभीष्टफलप्रदाम् ।। नानाफलानि पक्वानि नैवेद्यत्वे प्रकल्पयेत् ।। ५२।।

sanskrit

After meditating on the goddess, the bestower of desires on the devotees he shall offer various ripe fruits as Naivedya.

english translation

itthaM dhyAtvA mahezAnIM bhaktAbhISTaphalapradAm || nAnAphalAni pakvAni naivedyatve prakalpayet || 52||

नैवेद्यं भक्षयेद्यस्तु शंभुशक्तेः परात्मनः ।। स निर्भूयाखिलं पङ्कं निर्मलो मानवो भवेत् ।। ५३।।

sanskrit

The man who partakes of Naivedya of Śiva Śakti shakes off all dirt and becomes pure.

english translation

naivedyaM bhakSayedyastu zaMbhuzakteH parAtmanaH || sa nirbhUyAkhilaM paGkaM nirmalo mAnavo bhavet || 53||

चैत्रशुक्लतृतीयायां यो भवानीव्रतं चरेत् ।। भववन्धननिर्मुक्तः प्राप्नुयात्परमं पदम् ।। ५४ ।।

sanskrit

He who performs the rite of the goddess on the third day of the bright half of Caitra is liberated from the bondage of worldly existence and attains the supreme goal.

english translation

caitrazuklatRtIyAyAM yo bhavAnIvrataM caret || bhavavandhananirmuktaH prApnuyAtparamaM padam || 54 ||

अस्यामेव तृतीयायां कुर्याद्दोलोत्सवं बुधः ।। पूजयेज्जगतां धात्रीमुमां शंकरसंयुताम्।। ५५।।

sanskrit

On this very third day the Buddha should celebrate the Dolotsav. One should worship this mother of the worlds associated with Lord Shiva.

english translation

asyAmeva tRtIyAyAM kuryAddolotsavaM budhaH || pUjayejjagatAM dhAtrImumAM zaMkarasaMyutAm|| 55||
